Food is really good! Best soup dumplings I ever had! The rest of the dishes are all super Tasty...yes Tasty Moment indeed!

For context my experience with Chinese food has been mostly Americanized dishes/flavors.
To date this has to be the most authentic Chinese food I’ve ever had and it was excellent! Dumplings were on point as an appetizer, and every dish made its presence felt. In terms of flavor I think the peppercorn chicken was the standout. Great spice
They were very busy (1 hour wait) so factor that in if you’re going for dinner. They’re efficient, and in general the entire waitstaff was on top of its game. It’s worth pointing out specifically that not only our waiter but others had a professional demeanor I don’t often see in most restaurants. Highly recommend this place

We waited until the restaurant had been open for a couple months before trying. I’m not big on crowds and we thought it be best for them to work out the “kinks”. We went this evening and it was fantastic! The service was incredible without being too much. The food came fast and it was extraordinary! Definitely a must go! Tasty Moment definitely lives up to its name because it is sooo dang good.
We ordered the crab and pork soup dumplings. It was divine!
The crawfish fried rice with XO sauce was so amazing. Had that wok hei taste that made everything so delicious. Definitely worth ordering.
We also got the eggplant with egg and it was spectacular. They mix the cooked eggplant and century egg in front of you which leads to a perfectly creamy and mildly spicy dish.
I would 100% recommend Tasty Moment. It's definitely worth it.

The food was so incredibly fresh and just fabulous! The serving sizes were incredibly large; cannot believe we ate all that! Lol
Definitely try the pork fried rice and double cooked pork with buns.

Came to Tasty Moment on a suggestion from my wife. Date Night !!
Service was incredibly fast, friendly and detailed oriented. We made our selections and with in moments food was already arriving.
Everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh and delicious. The star for tonight's choice was definitely the pork belly.... Wow. Tender, savory chunks of pork, my mouth is watering just rethinking about it...
Would I come here again ? YES !
You should definitely give Tasty Moment a try, It will most certainly become one of you favorites too.

The line was super long, but we got in there after 30min wait. The food was super good, especially these two we ordered. The restaurant seemed like it was always crowded. Overall, we recommend this place. We definitely come back if we stop by in NJ.

Really enjoyed our first visit. Sheng Jian Bao were excellent. Cumin lamb very interesting presentation. Spicy xiao long bao were great. Recommended!

Very pleasantly surprised by this dim sum spot in Edison. Came with three other people and we got the soup dumplings, garlic crawfish, sautéed snow peas leaves, mapo tofu, and ribs. I didn't try everything but everything I had was (except for the crawfish, but I think I just don't like crawfish). It's a pretty big space but also it's BUMPIN so you should put your name on the waitlist. Service is quick though and turnaround is fast, so the wait probably isn't TOO bad regardless.
It's really close to the HMart / Island Spa / Train station too, which is great. Rarely find myself in Edison now but would happily return here the next time I'm around!
